ABOUT THE OWNER Jennifer Rodrigues resides in Castro Valley, California, East Bay of San Francisco. After captioning for Stanford University for over one year, she decided to pursue full time her own captioning company geared towards the benefit of the deaf and hard-of-hearing community as well as other disabled persons. Her maternal grandfather gradually lost most of his hearing due to age. She had a close relationship with him, and this has since motivated her desire to offer her services to the senior community as well. U.S. Army Sergeant and P.O.W. Jack Wayne Mears passed away peacefully, with his only two daughters at his bedside, at the age of 94 years. Jennifer was in the skilled-nursing building in close proximity at the time of his passing. In fact, it was the same date as Jennifer's parents' wedding anniversary and the 47th birthday of her long-time boyfriend, on December the 11th.
